Paphos People

My wife just rang to say there is a big incident on the motorway (multiple emergency service vehicles) just after the tunnel coming from Limassol which i think would be near Episkopi/Kourion ?! Anyone heard anything ?

Just checked the Mail today and there was nothing in there. So I really don't know.

"Highway Disruption

Drivers are warned that their journeys along the Paphos to Limassol highway may be disrupted as short-term works take place.

The electricity authority is laying underground cables in the area which entails the closing of alternate lanes on the stretch for four kilometres."

Don't know if this had anything to do with it.

According to Cyprus TV news yesterday evening, a vehicle left the motorway and the driver was found dead nearby some time later. Presumably he had been thrown out of the vehicle while it was bouncing across the field?
