The venue has just confirmed that Saturday 8th December is available to us and since we have had so many requests for the Saturday the NEW details are below. We do however have a minimum numbers requirement set by the hotel for the set price we have been given.
If you have already booked and have reserved a room with the hotel, please remember to contact them to change the date (if you are still available for the party)

For anyone wanting to fully enjoy the all-inclusive drinks and stay over, rooms are available on a bed and breakfast basis for only an additional
€25 per person (Based on 2 sharing)
(For those who are taking advantage of this offer, you can check in at 12.00noon on the Saturday, have full use of the hotel for the day , enjoy the party in the evening , spend a night in the hotel , have full buffet breakfast in the morning and check out Sunday lunch time)

Dave - I don't understand the hotel arrangements, if we check in on saturday lunchtime and checkout sunday lunchtime, the party isn't until sunday night - isn't this defeating the object?

CORRECT, the price was negotiated on a minimum of 50. I have however approached the venue and asked if they would still do the same price if it was only 40
Having said that, despite 930 views, the current figure (33 of which 2 are provisional) is more of a Tea Party than a Christmas party.
To make things as fair as possible for the venue, Matt Edmondson and those who have already 'signed up' a decision will be made on Sunday 25th November as to whether or not the party goes ahead

Cost of 35 attendees at €33 = €1155
Shortfall €165
That is extra per person €165/35 = €5 (rounded up)
Total amount €38 per person

Would this not be a possibility, rather than disappoint 35 people?
