There are many alternatives, the main ones being: MSN, Yahoo messenger, Tesco, SIP. Skype is probably the most popular though, but for voice only Tesco or SIP phones are excellent. Try http://www.voipon.co.uk or http://www.voipcheap.com for SIP. Loads of others as well. The main thing is what your friends/family use as well. Digby |

We use http://www.internetcalls.com as we don't know very many people on Skype. It works out really cheap for us as every time we top up our credit, we get a 100 days free phone calls to certain countries.
