The other week when my PC decided to die on me & frying my HDD, I found out that I'd not backed up all my music on the HDD, so when I got my new PC & HDD, I only had what was on my portable HDD, which it turned out was quite an old backup
I'd lost all my recent purchases from iTunes & knowing there rules on only being allowed to download any music you buy once, I would have lost a few hundred pounds worth of tracks 
So the other day, I decided to see if there new version 7 was any different & uploaded to my new PC, which automatically found my music & uploaded onto my PC, I then checked out their 'Help' section & decided to contact them & plead my case, that my PC died & fried my HDD which I hadn't backed up
Today I got an email from them saying how sorry they were to here my plight & if I followed some very simple instructions, they had authorised me to get all my music which I'd purchased off them re-downloaded at NO COST
You could have knocked me over with a feather, I'm not in the process of downloading 212 tracks which I thought I'd lost due to my PC crashing, which I also thought I'd have to purchase again
So this is a big THANK YOU to iTunes for all their help in recovering all my music
