I checked also, and you are quite correct.

NO terms & conditions that I can find.

But it should be finalised now, with no changes and late entries..............

This time next month we'll be in the bottom 3.

I seriously doubt whether we have the character to get back out again.

Told you so!

Very tight down there again - the smogs have given themselves a chance with the win yesterday, but it's looking odds on 2 of the 3 NE teams will be departing....

mackems need to get 4 points from their next 2 games I reckon, while we need to look to be taking minimum 7 from our 3 remianing home games against Pompey, Boro and Fulham - don't expect to get much at Spurs or Liverpool, but wouldn't rule out a result at Villa Park on the final day as their chances of getting in the Champs League look to be gone now - really does look like it will go right to the wire though....

Well that's another defeat, but not to worry we've got 3 easy home games coming up where we'll get enough points without too many problems....

Assuming of course we improve on our last few seasons, where with a much better team home games against Boro, Pompey and Fulham have yielded:

07/08 - 4 points
06/07 - 4 points
05/06 - 5 points
04/05 - 2 points

That's 3 wins in 4 seasons and 12 matches. And we've only won 6 (6???) games all season.

Hmmm.....

Obviously if it's me, I'll win nowt.
I'll liase with this section's mod Pete on who is the winner ( as long as it is not him !) if he's in the running I'll get another arbitrator.
Good Luck to anyone who didn't have Sunderland AFC in their bottom three.

Daz is looking favourite at the moment for eu 50 with 2 from 3..............

even tho' he was late in posting his selection.

Well results all went for us yesterday.

Remains to be seen whether we can do our own bit tomorrow night. Most nervous I've been ahead of a game in a long time - lose this and we're as good as down I reckon.

So what's the odds for all 3 NE teams going down and West Brom doing the great escape?

Sorry on bit of a downer at the moment.

I've got to say it's quite exciting with only 2 games left and not 1 team is relegated yet.

And techincally Man U aren't champions yet either :D

It might be exciting if we weren't right in the thick of it - it's no good for my blood pressure this relegation lark!

I had a look at the relegation candidates remaining two fixtures. I really wouldn't want to put any moneny on calling on who will go down! Trully is a lottery this year.

Personally, I hope that Newcastle stay up. Not because they play any form of stylish, fluent football, but simply because I like their kit and laughing at the fat bare chested baboons in the crowd on MOTD.

I offered a 50 euro prize and it stands. I will not be accepting bids in January from people who quite obviously had a few months hindsight.
After next week I will study the teams and see who wins, but it won't be a Jonny come lately as that would not be fair.
Saying that, I haven't checked to see who's winning, but it may not be a Jonny come lately anyway.
JGG, These are my rules okay ?
Gary
PS I will pay out via Capt Fantastic.

discopants.

It's a pity a final date for entries was not in the original post.

But I tend to agree.

Your money.
Your rules.

I agree  ...... and if you also discount the people that chose 5 teams that'll make you the winner to date

AT LAST! I resisted as long as possible! I don't think there has been a day when he has not posted on the forum at all. However, today may be that day. Let's just hope he is still crying into his KEO and nothing more serious.

I'm sure they will bounce straight back up.................Although, I wouldn't put money on it.
