Well, we just got a minute of snowflakes falling from a sky, here in Kamares. While I got a camera, they disappeared.

I have two digital and one traditional thermometer outside; some got +2C some +3C around my house (1000 ft above sea level) tonight.

Do you think the Winter Fuel Allowance should be stopped for those living in the balmy UK?

Dont be misled by the instant readings on many of the websites, they give a general reading and not for the specific nooks and crannies of the whole region.

Our car read +3 but the snow was frozen and its still icy this morning (though will melt nicely).

You must be very careful on the roads and walking trails from here on in as different valleys and round many corners are unseen icy patches. Driving with a little extra caution and respect for the weather....

Ok thats my public health notice for 2016. The divits at Minthis Hills are still in shorts!!

Very true.

Manchester and Rochdale flooded for the first time in over 150 years.
