It’s the run up to Christmas and we all know what happened then…..a child was born and PEOPLE arrived bearing gifts!!
This is a chance for Paphos PEOPLE to arrive bearing gifts to a needy child.

Gifts of basic food items; nappies; baby milk; baby food and even dummy’s are URGENTLY needed by Solidarity in Paphos to help some of the 300+ families of several nationalities who desperately need help.

Paphos People have always stepped up in the past with appeals and I hope we can do so again. :clap

For those who live within ‘Philippos range of operation’ they have a large range of 1 + 1 on essential dry foods like pasta; rice; pulses etc, many at the same price as a pint!! The price of a pint could give a family of 4 a meal!!!!
How many of us have Philippos points just sitting there? Why not use some point to purchase some items to donate.
Have you checked your cupboards lately for those packets of dried items and tins of food that have been there for a while (but are still in date) that you could donate.
Check down the back of your sofa or favourite chair for the coins that have fallen out your pockets….it might not be a lot, but could be enough to by a hungry child some basic food.
And don’t worry if you are in the UK at present, you can still make a cash donations via the Paphos People paypal account ..make payments to [email protected] and we will purchase food items on your behalf and deliver them.
For anyone who wants to donate anything from the Coral Bay area, but are unable to get to Paphos, I can make myself available in the Philippos Car Park in Coral Bay tomorrow morning to collect and deliver any donations

Went into Smart supermarket, behind Alpha Mega today and they have reasonably priced nappies and formula, handy to drop off directly at Solidarity then which is only 2 minutes away! Also AM do have offers on nappies. If you need directions to Solidarity office, let me know.

I dropped a couple supermarket bags for formula into Peyia Medical Centre this morning. I know it's not a lot, but something is better than nothing

it is worrying and sobering to know that 120 babies are short of baby formula, nappies and essentials like bottles, bath things and dummies etc
and that in total over 400 older children have no food to eat right now and are struggling on a daily basis!

every little helps!

my husband is available to all of those who cannot get to Solidarity to pick up and drop your bags of food and things off for you! we live in Peyia

with such a dire situation
How do we help shop keepers, restaurants and companies to help this cause?

as these poor people and children need all of the help that can be mustered

I come from a marketing background and will offer my services freely if needs be
what I cannot do, is watch these families suffer like they are

please !
what can we all do to help!

children and babies are suffering and are going hungry
