Hi, I will be staying in a private apartment in Peyia with a toddler at the end of Sept. Just wondering if there are any public toddler facilities/play areas that we can use other than the beach? Thanks.

There is a water park In Coral Bay and some establishments also offer toddlers play areas.Nothing actually public that I know of but others with littlies might. There is also the zoo locally with free bus but it is quite spread out so take walking shoes and a pushchair.
We have 2 lovely beaches in the Coral bay area with safe swimming, sun beds and brollies and plenty of sand and other children to play with.
Most complexes have a pool so there is that as well.

we live in Lower Peyia and Paliomonestero resteraunt and park area ...sorry if spelt wrong.... has a lovely childrens and todlers very safe play area near to where we live

my grandchildren have been there many a time to play whilst mum and dad sat down with a cooling drink to watch them

from Coral Bay roundabout ......... it is on the main road from Coral Bay to Agius Georgous..on the outskirts of lower Peyia on your right hand side.

or can be reached if driving from Peyia by turning right at the Mediteranean Resteraunt ...follow the road all the way down going past the little white church on your right......iron mongers on your left......drive another few hundred yards it is there on your right, it has it's own safe car park as well

and is lovely for little ones to go to have a play

there are slides, swings , round abouts, a grassy area all fenced off from the road so very safe for ball games and sometimes a bouncy castle!

do you have a car???

as that would make getting to it very easy for you from Peyia

Thanks Maggie, you have answered what would have been my next question. I was thinking afterwards about restaurant areas as they often have play areas to keep the little ones amused. We have seen them in past in Puerto Del Carmen in Lanzarote and Portugal.

you can also buy day passes to the Laura Beach Hotel
which has a todler water park area just for them
and loads of other pools etc for you

do not know prices as we didn't use it for grandchildren
but the day pass allows you to arive early
have breakfast, lunch and dinner, all drinks, ice cream etc etc in the hotel included in the price of the day pass

so also may be worth a look
hope you have a wonderful hols

Hi Maggie, thanks again for that info. I will make enquiries about the cost of the day pass. We went to France recently and they had a toddlers water park/splash pool area. It was the first time going to one but it was included in our complex and our little boy thoroughly enjoyed it and it made our days easier. He's only 2.5 but I am worried that he may not have other toddlers to interact with at our apartment block which means we will have to go find other company/entertainment for him. The hotel sounds like a good option for all of us and means I get a day off from cooking :giggle

I have enquired at the Laura Beach Hotel and their day passes for AI are Euro 40 per adult. Children under 3yrs are free.

Just wondering now if there are other hotels that offer day passes.
