Went to Kokkinos today with friends and had a really lovely lunch! Lots of food and wine and so very reasonable. Lovely people and found out that one of our neighbours is the Owners Auntie! Will definitely be going again.

Glad you enjoyed it, Yvonne.
We drove past at lunchtime and saw a table of 4 sitting outside in the shade, guess that was you and your friends?

We had dinner at Kokkinos last night. It was excellent, as regards all of: food, menu, service, friendliness, ambience, parking, prices, lack of smoking.

Roxanna looked after us very well. Her husband is the chef, whom we met and liked, too. Roxanna speaks very good English, her husband not so.

We sat close to the wonderful log fire in the middle of the room. But come warmer times and daytimes, I suspect we'll be using the outside seats and tables, which also look attractive. It is a taverna, so don't expect the comfiest seats, but they were really perfectly OK. They have fitted out the building very well - modern and above normal taverna standards. We will definitely be going again, and soon.
