Hello all.

I'm new to the forum and firstly wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone for a brilliant, informative site - lots of great reading on here.

We are hoping to come to Cyprus in the autumn for my partner to do some work at the College of Art in Lempa. They do have basic accommodation on site but as I'm not an artist myself, we're also looking at the possibility of renting somewhere as we'll be there about 6 weeks or so.

However, for the life of me, I simply cannot find anywhere advertised online to rent in Lempa. I was wondering if any helpful people out there would be able to let me know if Lempa is just not the sort of village that has rentals, or if there is somewhere very close by (preferably walkable) to the College, that we might have more luck looking at.

Thanks very much in hopeful anticipation...

Have you looked on Holiday Letting and/or Owners Abroad??

Hi JB

Thanks for your response. Yes, I have looked at both of those sites and unfortunately there's nothing in Lempa. We've never been to Cyprus before - really looking forward to it - and I haven't been able to find out much about the village other than about the art college so I can't really get an idea of the size of the place, but I wonder if it may be the sort of place that would be easier to find somewhere once we're there.

Thanks again

Try the 'map search' on Holiday Lettings ... there are a few around Lempa/Lemba

Cheers, JB. That's fantastic. Just did that and you're right, of course, there are indeed quite a few and they look great. Problem solved.
