what does that mean exactly ? ..

Do you mean it has title deeds and you can Guarantee to get a mortgage ?

The opportunist..

It means in general that the developer will sign to permit a mortgage against the property in favour of the new owner prior to the seperation of the main plot. The new owner if taking a mortgage will have right to the property and any existing debt currently in favour of the developer is removed.

If not taking a mortgage the same applies with the developer removing any charge to that portion of a development, allowing purshasers to have security in the process.

This process is also accepted by the developer bank and your solicitor will ensure all the correct registrations are made at the land register.
