Yes we live in a small island with everyone that seems to know everyone else. everyone gossips looking to bring people down. Words of Wisdom = don't listen to any gossip unless you know the person or the truth. And if you do know the truth put people right - simple ! |

A good topic as so often people say 'I've heard.....' or 'they say.......' but are unable to back up the comment with fact! Always good when someone makes a point in forum postings to be able to quote the source of reference. I also avoid people that moan - they seem to enjoy discussing their misfortunes! |

Navwoman, I love moaning. It really winds people up. I think I've got moaning off to a fine art now, whether I'm walking up hills in the Lake District or watching young people in pubs. I just love it. |
