I was taking two Areston tablets per day, they are wonderful for keeping away aches and pains but they can also cause high blood pressure as you get older. On my doctors advice I am slowly stopping them and my blood pressure has dramatically reduced. Instead of the anti-inflammatories I take three 1000mg Fish Oil Omega 3 capsules. In another month, if my BP is still reduced, my doctor will reduce the strength of my BP tablets. The problem is that Areston tablets are Over the Counter non-prescription medication and it is not until your doctors finds out you are taking them that you get the warning. Hope it works for you. |
