Hello,
At the risk of being inundated by insurance salesmen, does any one know of a cheap health insurance for the over 60's?
We were covered in the UK by Benenden at approximately £5.00 a month but this is not available to us here.
We both have health issues pre-existing but would like to find a degree of cover for other things, like private hospital care etc.
Also how best to get Premarin (Oestrogen) tablets 0.625 which is only available from the General Hospital we are told.
Tried to buy some from USA but never arrived.

Would it not be a good idea to join the Cypriot health service if you are eligible?

One you have done this your tablets would be free from the hospital pharmacy.

If either of you are receiving a UK state pension you may apply for a medical card here. It may be easier if you have EHICs.
Travel insurance can be a problem where pre-existing conditions are chronic. I am classed as such because I had a heart valve replaced, even though I am very well now.
