Cynthiana Beach, Just off Coral Bay road, Kissonerga.

Stayed there 2 Christmases ago.

The Structure was a series of add ons as the years have gone by. The early building, main facilities and rooms were all very tired and desperately in need of refurb. I cannot comment on the newer rooms as they were locked up for the Christmas period, but looked more modern.
In room facilities were poor. Poor heating, poor and no equipment etc etc, We needed to return to our apartment to get kettles, hairdryers, etc etc for use.

The staff were friendly enough, not overbearing and not too grumpy either so get pass marks. They just weren't too interested in anything.

The food was a combination of different proteins and various carbohydrates. It was repetitive, but plentiful. Soup plates were cold, but Iced cream plates were hot! Themed food nights but lacked real quality or variation. Mince on Med night was called Mousakka, mince on Latin night was chilli con carne, mince on Euro night was called mince etc etc, but if your only there for a week then seven minces is enough.

Breakfast was fare standard with a running buffet, and depending what time you got in you got different produce. Low quality 'fresh' drinking juice and tepid milk. Frankfurters, bloody frankfurters. Not even a cold salami in sight, but mixture of eggs, sliced ham, and various cereals. Kept the body functioning.
We didn't go there for either the food nor entertainment (which was very poor quality) but to enjoy time with the family, so overall enjoyed our stay.

Outside facilities of beach, pool, sunbathing area were good enough (although unusable at Chrimbo). The indoor heated pool was ice cold.

Property sales companies were using it for Prison visits when we were there and the entrapment in the public areas was a little embarrassing.

It was (dont know about now) described as 3 star, I would suggest a tired 2 star rating. Would not be a hotel for a quiet holiday as it seems set up for families with kiddies a plenty.. so if you have kiddies, then great.

We found it quicker to go down the fire exit to get to the dining room than do the route march through various add-ons as we were located at the top end.
On the whole not a paricularly good experience.
