The Queens Bay Hotel which is well on the way to Coral Bay is still a family run establishment, we have stayed at least six times well worth more than its 3 star rating.

Just received prices from the Queens Bay Hotel, certainly going to give it a miss this year and next going on their prices, you can actualy get a flight and 1 weeks stay from a tour operator for what they are charging for direct booked accomodation without a flight.
Is this the typical Cypriot self destruct mentality.

We stayed again last year on a package holiday, very little has changed, the food is a big let down, No Bacon most mornings just hot dog sausages with your eggs etc the evenings meals although plenty there left much to be desired, we'd paid extra for a sea view room but only provided with a side room.

:greetings :I can't believe that the queens bay is having another refurb
It was only closed last oct until may for the same reason.
I must admit I haven't stayed at the queens bay for5years so can't give an up to date comment
But there 6 times we stayed we didn't have any complaints.
obviously the food was repetative but that is the majority of hotels world wide,
the staff were long serving staff and always very friendly :) .
But I must agree I have observed there tarriffs and they seem to be a tad overpriced.

Other than the Stalag Luft Veronica, it's the only place where bacon was only served one day in five for brekkie, and as I said hot dog sausages other mornings.
