I BELEIVE the answer is NO...UNLESS the 'pet' is a special basket with dimensions up 70X40X50cm."

A total no no, and I'm not sure about even in a special basket although it'd be handy for many people if it were!

A while back when doing his national service my brother in law smuggled a small rescue puppy all the way here from Nicosia in his ruck sack - just a thought...!
