And the last Autumn statement too so he says! I have to say that I thought he spoke very well with a touch of humour at times and I was quite impressed. Certainly not the silly schoolboy antics that we have come to expect from others. They do seem to be concentrating more on the Midlands and the North now which is surely good for the country? I think it has shocked everyone also that the Markets appear to have accepted the news and the pound has actually risen. |

I wish they had shown the faces on the 'Opposition Benches' when he stopped speaking (immediately after his announcement of 'his last Autumn statement'). |

Just flown back from Cyprus to the UK, so missed it. I couldnt determine from from the above 2 posts what the major takeaways were. |
