Just in case you missed the good news today. Today's growth figures for the UK are excellent. Far, better than anyone predicted. Carney got it completely wrong again. Glaxo is in a £275m UK expansion, Wells Fargo Bank is riding over into a large office block in London which it has bought & Bank of America is creating 1,000 jobs in Chester! Things are looking up already, and we haven't even got into negotiations with the EU yet! Have faith in the UK. But I expect the more radical Remainers will find something to run the UK down again!

They usually do!
But these prophets of doom are wrong yet again, and they had the cheek before the referendum to call us Brexiteers scaremongers! Pots and Black Kettles come to mind!

What happened to the £350 million for the NHS.....conveniently disappeared.

What happened to the guys extolling the virtues of Brexit, and telling all the lies......conveniently disappeared.

I still live in UK for 60% of my life. I am willing to see how it goes.
As yet apart from making my holiday to Antigua about 15% dearer nothing much has happened.

The fun will start when Article 50 is applied for.

But as I said in May it won't affect me with my index linked pension, but I feel sorry for my wife's granddaughter whose PhD course is no longer funded and has to leave after doing 1 year.

Big Nev. One of the reasons many voted to leave the EU was to safeguard our pensions, index linked or not. If you care to read the EU Five Presidents report, Google for it, you will clearly see that the EU intends to "harmonize" pay, pensions & benefits across the EU. I bet the new harmonized pensions will be less than todays pension. For most of the southern EU is pension-less and pot less and your UK index-linked pension will probably be reduced to provide a pension to an Albanian who has never paid into a pension fund in his life.
