hi
A bit of help, i have registered with currency fair. My question is will it be best to transfer money to currency fair before we leave the uk as we still need to open an account in Cyprus or just leave it until we open account in cyprus and do the transfer of money then. Your thoughts and advice would be most welcome.

You can transfer your money to CF and hold it your account with them. You can then do the exchange when it suits you. It takes a few days to get into the account so do it before you leave. Opening an bank account here is fast providing you have the right paperwork when you go into the branch.
