I am currently going through a divorce. can someone clarify something for me. My soon to be EX wife has constant communication with my solicitor and has in my presence called my solicitor on her mobile phone. What right does my soon to be EX have to communicate with my solicitor ??? I had a solicitor for many years in the UK, i don't once remember the other party in any of my affairs calling my solicitor directly. Could this not be seen as a conflict of interest ??? |

Only your Wife's solicitor should be communicating with yours so a definate irregularity here. |

I think your wife can talk with your solicitor but the husband of her can't talk and also as the same with you.And you can't stop that because she has a legal right to do that. |

Actually, no she can't. All negotiations must be done lawyer to lawyer, otherwise there could be seen to be a conflict of interest. Lesley |
