Hi,
I’m afraid wages are low.
The salary is €745 per month and 6.8% social comes out of this.
The company also pays 6.8% plus 8% holiday fund.
Regards to you…Carol

Good luck in finding someone willing to work for less than 4 euros an hour .Taking into account that they have to break the day into 2 parts so 4 lots of fuel daily to get to work I would be ashamed to offer what is less than the minimum wage over here I believe.?

I thought slavery had been abolished, but not in Cyprus it would seem!

Maybe someone living at home who has a parent to run them to work and back may be tempted but anyone who has to pay rent, bills and run a car etc it is not tempting is it?

I’m not the boss just an employee. I have worked for the company for 22 years, next one down from me 17 years, then 10 years and so on.
We always get paid on the day, social insurance up to date and a very easy job.
I have friends who are reps and are earning 600 per month.
I’m not saying its right but it is how it is.( I wish things were better)
There is a commission on top of this and at least we get a basic.
And for any other person who is interested, if I cant get a Russian speaking person
then I will ask for an English speaker.
Thank you

Sounds like a pretty ok job to me. If I spoke Russian I'd be applying.

It sounds like that salary is below the minimum wage for Cyprus: http://www.cyprusexpat.co.uk/article/id ... muneration

If there's anyone living close to Limassol and looking for work on a full time basis (working shifts 24/7) then the company I work at are looking for staff. We need staff who are fluent in another language (both written and spoken) with fluency in English as a secondary language and eligible to work in Cyprus (EU citizens) - so Russian language, must be married to Cypriot national or other EU national eligible to work in Cyprus. Salary starts at around €1025 per month (gross).

Hours of working (5 days over 7) as follows:
Day 1 07:00 - 16:00
Day 2 16:00 - 24:00
Day 3 24:00 - 07:00
Day 4 Sleep Day
Day 5 Off Day
Day 6 07:00 - 16:00
Day 7 16:00 - 24:00 etc, etc
