Post subject:  Will We Ever Learn
Will we ever learn, this is a rhetorical question, because the stubborn feral culture that has been bred in the UK never ceases to amaze me.

A couple of weeks ago we had rave parties in Manchester, then last night week had street party in Brixton which resulted in police officers being hurt, yesterday we had mass gatherings on a Southend beach, now a major incident has been declared in Bournmouth.

This will never go away whilst you have idiots, oh by the way, parents will not allow their kids go to school but taking them to the beach and mingling like this is okay. :-( :roll:

People need to take ownership of their own behavior
Sadly some minorities or refusing to do this

My heart goes out to the majority who are following the distancing rules
You must now all be beginning to feel angry and fed up

And what is this awful violence to the police and all of this leaving of tons and tons of rubbish wantonly and selfishly left behind for some one else to clean up after them! Why!

It seems to me that over the last few decades that people have just become so totally selfish that their enjoyment comes before anything else.
I am beyond angry at the sheer selfishness, arrogance, abuse, filth and disrespect of so many people in the UK.
We will not get rid of Covid 19 and be able to return to life as we once knew it as long as this is all happening.
We need strong and effective leadership ( Come back Mrs Thatcher) Strong and effective policing (who don't have their hands tied behind their backs), Teachers who teach with discipline( instead of their own political and moral agendas) and parents to start treating their children as children and not their best friend.No discipline anywhere, no respect, political correctness gone mad and a generation who spend too much time finding things to be offended by instead of finding a job, working hard, bringing up a generation of decent human beings and just being thoughtful of others.
Rant over for now!

Reading some ‘young’ peoples posts (not on here) ) last night, It made me realise how ‘abused’ I was as a child.

My parents made me do household jobs, including tidying my own room.
They made me go to school. They even made me walk there and back!!
They made me play outside in the fresh air, hail rain or shine.
They didn’t buy me everything I said I ‘must have’.
I was only permitted a certain amount of ‘TV’ time.
They gave me curfews and tanned my arm-pit when I did something wrong.
They put home cooked food on the table and made me eat it, at the table with a knife and fork.
They suggested I get a job when I left school and work to pay for the things I wanted.
They insisted I do my best and take pride in my work.

The result of all this ‘abuse’ was weirdly, I grew up with morals, a good work ethic and respect for the law and my elders.
I don’t feel ‘entitled’ and I don’t get ‘offended’ at things I disagree with

I used to think I was just a regular guy, but . . .
I was born white, into a 2 parent household which now, whether I like it or not, apparently makes me ‘PRIVILEGED’.
I am a fiscal and moral conservative; I plan and budget to support myself and my family which by today's standards, that makes me a ‘FASCIST’
I went to school followed by further education and had always held a job. I now find I am not here because I earned it but because I was ‘ADVANTAGED’.
I am heterosexual, which according to gay folks, now makes me ‘HOMOPHOBIC’.
I am not a Muslim, which now labels me an’ INFIDEL’
I am older than 65, which makes me a useless old man, who couldn’t / doesn’t understand Facebook; Twitter and Snapchat. I am a ‘COFFIN DODGER’
I think and I reason.... therefore I doubt much that the mainstream media tells me, which makes me a ‘REACTIONARY’.
I am proud of my heritage and the inclusive British culture, which makes me a ‘XENOPHOBE’.
I am proud of our flag and what it stands for and the many who died to let it fly so apparently I am an ‘IMPERIALIST’.
I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a ‘RIGHT WING EXTREMIST’.
I believe in the defence and protection of my country for and by all citizens, which now makes me a ‘MILITANT’.
I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an ‘ANTI-SOCIALIST’.
Please help me come to terms with the new me . . . Because I'm just not sure who I am anymore! Funny how this has only all taken place over just the last couple of years. and... as if all this crap wasn't enough to deal with, I'm now not sure which toilet to use.

My daughter and son in law went out in the afternoon to their local pub in Congleton...it was a reserved table pub ...all distanced....no going to the bar allowed as bar waitress service was brought to the tables...so all safely done there ...mind you they only stayed a short while...enjoyed their drinks and went back home by tea time ...so no idea if order was kept later on as more alcohol was drank
