It would appear the ownership the market has now passed to new owners. Good luck to the new owners and to the faithful stall holders.

Is there any changes users would like to see implemented by the new owners.

Yes, insist that stallholders have something worth selling, not just the 2nd,3rd, or even fourth hand tat that features currently.

Sounds like you have a vested interest Tanny, did you buy it?

None whatsoever, but I am always one to welcome new blood in most fields.

Do we know this FOR SURE or is it just rumour?

Do the previous 'owners' still have an interest / stall?

Very poor comment by you. There are at least 12 x PERMANENT stallholders who sell brand new goods, so why try to denegrate their sincere efforts to maintain a decent market. Suggest you actually go there sometime, instead of making derogorative comments, and view for yourself, instead of putting off those who might have gone, but put off by your cynical comments.

The information is correct. Please give the Duckpond Market an opportunity to prosper, as there are people's livelihoods at stake here.

I have to say , I do feel for the long term stall holders at the market, they all worked hard,
while the management let the place run into the ground , you should not let your business
interests be controled by people are not capable of doing so, I am so glad we got out when we did..

I know you have a vested interest Wavy Dave, however, I maintain that my comments are purely a statement of my observations from a visit in early July.
Try looking from a punters point of view & not your political agenda as a stallholder - the view is not a good one.
Time will tell which of us is correct, pointless revisiting IMHO.
