Hello everyone - I'm back!
Some of you may have missed me - I hope! I've been quiet for the last few months because of family commitments and a bereavement, so didn't want to have more work than I could cope with. I'm back now, and available for as much work as you want to send me! Each week from now onwards we will be loading Groupage from North London for overland transport, door to door service, so it's really fast and very competatively priced. We collect from all over the UK. No single boxes please, our minimum charge is one cubic metre. Please email me for an inventory sheet so that we can quantify your goods. Export packing and wrapping service if required. Full Containers all the time as usual, especially from the North of England and Scotland. Vehicles too. We ship to and from Cyprus / anywhere, not just the UK.
I'll look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers
Jo Valentine

Hi Jo, we are new to all this and in the early stages of planning to move to cyprus. Did I understand correctly, that you transport from other countries to Cyprus? We live in Copenhagen, Denmark and wondered if you would be able to give us a quote if your areas cover Denmark?

Hello 'Haymarket'
Many thanks for your interest. Yes, we can organise your transport from Denmark. We will need to know the volume of goods involved. Please send me an email so that I can forward an inventory sheet to you - it helps us 'quantify' your move.
I'll look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Kindest regards
Jo Valentine

Thanks Joe, before we go any further, how exactly do you arrange the transport from Denmark? We have so many questions, i.e. how long can our stuff sit in Cyprus before we pick it up as we have to find a place to rent. Also we are pensioners so I assume there is no tax etc., Can you please give us a rough idea of the prices, Our flat here is 69 sq.m. One bedroom flat, with book cases and books etc., Do you pack the stuff for us? Sorry for all the questions, we are thinking of moving around September, October 2012.

Hi
Could we continue by email please? It is probably not in the slightest bit interesting to other members, and posting on here is a bit restricting as we can't send attachments.
Very best regards

Anyone thinking of shipping goods over to Cyprus I would recomend them getting a few quotes, quite a difference in the prices I found.

I entirely agree Molly. It would be good to know how much to transport 1 cubic metre. And how long can you wait before unloading a container, and what is the storage charge after so many days

Surely all these things are not secret.

Trev..

I think the difference this time is that shipping is from Denmark - not something that affects most of us :greetings

Some of it is general though Jean, i.s. 'how long can our stuff sit in Cyprus before we pick it up' 'Also we are pensioners so I assume there is no tax etc.' 'Do you pack the stuff for us'

I think those general questions could apply to wherever you are coming from.

I used Burke Brothers recently. I found them very helpful and pricewise very competive.
