What should we plant now that will be ready to harvest in Oct/Nov etc.

You could try looking at what's for sale now at YK London Supermarket/Garden Centre.

According to me, there are various kinds of vegetables grow in winter and easily can harvest in October and November such as Cabbage, chards, Carrots, Lettuce, Spinach, etc. They all veggies are best for human body.
