hello everyone, I am in The process to move to Paphos and am looking to buy a second hand car possibly 4 door and spacious, don't have a big budget so very open on the year and conditions. I am looking to spend not more than €1.000 if anyone can help I should be grateful Many thanks Jules |

Try the bazaraki website... You won't get much for €1000........cars are more expensive in Cyprus than they are in the UK. I've recently moved over here and brought my car with me. Although it's an old car...for what it was worth in the UK....compared to what I'd have to pay for a similar car age/mileage wise in Cyprus...it was a no-brainer! The cost to ship a car on its own is around £1400...Google will bring up companies that offer this service. If you're shipping household effects as well....check out the difference between a 20' and 40' container. My household effects exceeded a 20' container....a 40' was the cheaper option as opposed to groupage....the car travelled free! Good luck with your move Debs |

Second hand car prices have dropped considerably over the past few years, people who had 2 or 3 family cars and are struggling financially are trying to sell. You can get a car for €1000 but it will be old and well used, if you can only afford €1000 and it breaks down you have a problem. But that is the same in the UK and anywhere else for that matter.
