Starting Tuesday, everyone over 12 travelling to Cyprus must have a negative PCR Covid test conducted not more than 48 hours before their departure.

The decision applies to all arriving passengers irrespective of vaccination record and is part of government measures to stop the spread of the Coronavirus, specifically the Omicron variant.

Travellers must also submit to a PCR test upon arrival. The cost of the test is covered by the passenger.

In addition, all passengers, with the exception of those who have received a Covid booster shot, must undergo rapid antigen testing 72 hours after their arrival on the island.
