The health ministry reported no new coronavirus cases on Saturday, leaving the total at 927.

Earlier, the ministry reported five patients were being treated at Famagusta General, the reference hospital.

One of patients is in the advanced care unit, for closer monitoring.

Doctors said all the patients were in a generally good condition.

That figure has jumped to 8 new cases on Sunday

7 flew in...with no more quarantining from tomorrow of local people flying into Cyprus this is quite worrying
1 other was traced and tracked from an infected person
As we open our flight doors to people flying in who live here with self isolating and self quarantining ......and holiday makers from the beginning of June.
With little or no immunity here with our strong lock downs!
We will be staying home for now!

The health ministry on Monday announced two new confirmed cases of Covid-19, bringing the total to 937.

One case involved a repatriated person and the second case came from a school environment.

“We are concerned about cases being found among repatriated individuals and school workers,” virologist Leontios Kostrikis said announcing the new cases found from 2,128 tests processed by Monday afternoon.
