We emerged from our self-imposed lockdown/social isolation to get food supplies yesterday.

One of the stops we made was at Smart Supermarket on the Polis road.
Upon entering we were met by a member of staff who took our temperatures via digital 'gun' thermometer, advised we were ok, then offered us latex gloves to wear in store.

I think the store owners should be commended for their mature actions in the present situation.
However, our appreciative glow was somewhat deminished by our feeling of disgust at the selfish barstewards that stripped off their gloves, then dropped them on the carpark after leaving the store.

Just no accounting for these low-lifes!

Unfortunately I have also seen people throw gloves out a car window

Smart should maybe be Smarter and put a bin outside to dispose of used gloves

Firstly, do you know they haven't?
Second, do you think the morons throwing the gloves would even recognise a bin, let alone use it, I doubt it.

I can't believe you are trying to turn the blame back on the shop which is providing the testing & gloves in the public interest, at their own cost!

No I don't know they haven't, perhaps you do since you were there. I would like to think if they did, it would be used. I fully agree that there are a lot who wouldn't use it even if there was one especially if they had to walk more than a few steps to it.

I am NOT trying to turn the blame on anyone especially the shops who I have the greatest respect for and are doing everything they can to help
