Hi Simon

We have a Range Rover , which we put the correct measures of Coolant / Water in mix as advised in the manual , but after a run to Paphos from Polis , always needs a top up to keep it at the correct level . This I feel should not be the case .????

We have had the system pressure tested and no leaks found , but it still happens . There is no white in the oil , so would assume not a Head Gasket , so what would be your thoughts .
Also had the thermostat changed as one guy said itmay be getting stuck .

I am worried if we do a long run it might overheat .

Its done about 120,000 km , so not considerable .

What would you suggest we check ??

Thanks in Advance

Les

Water loss on this range rover is probabley related to viscouse fan or thermastat , . I can if you want do a hydrocarbon test on the cooling system , this will tell you if headgasket is gone.
