A young Arab asks his father ; "Father, what is this weird headgear we are wearing ?” “Why,... it's a "chechia" because in the desert it protects our heads from the sun” said the father. “And what is this type of clothes that we are wearing ?” “It's a "djbellah" because in the hot desert it protects our body” said the father. “And what are these ugly shoes that we have on our feet ?” “These are "babouches", which keep us from burning our feet in the hot desert, son” explained the father. “Tell me papa…” “Yes, my son ?” “Then, why the f**k do we live in London . . . ? ? ? ” |
