Yes, after only about 2 days of nice weather and I've been bitten twice last night.

I've covered them with afterbite. Pluggins are switched on and Elephant spray at the really.

Just warning for any one else who gets bitten first.

Yup, I got bitten as well. Got out the Dr Johnsons Bite and Sting Relief (bought in the UK) - it works really well for me, and no "wee" smell as in afterbite pens.

Hi,

Not sure if you can get it in Cyprus but Avon Skin So Soft, Dry oil spray (blue bottle) is excellent for keeping mozzies away. I normally get bitten to hell but I tried it last year and it does work.

I've found the best solution is to keep Ali near me at all times. She's great at absorbing all the bites :)

Yes, you can get it - Mike (Parydise) sells it at the Duckpond.

Funnily enough, Yvonne employs me in a similar capacity! :( They obviously only like the purest, sweetest tasting blood!

Something that worked for me when I was in Oz was Vitamin B tablets took them 2 wks before I went then one daily when I was there for a month didnt get bitten at all. The Ozzies told me to take them & they seemed to work for me. Could try that I must get some more now for this summer if the little blighters are back!! :bounce

I tried that Vitamin B thing. I didn't work of me :(
But I think it's a bit of luck what works depending on the person and Mosquito (there are like 3500 species)
