Here are a few pictures of our South African trip so far.
We have so far been to Durban for a week(scary!!!!) and have now spent the last few days around the Cape Town area. Tomorrow we start to travel "the Garden Route" for 5 days. Doing some safari's along the way so loads more pics soon. Some of the driving here is almost as bad as Cyprus!!! Having a great time & loving every minute of it.

Don't know if you will get this in time but if you are doing the Garden Route, stay at Plettenburg Bay. Visit the caves north of George and the ostrich farm there. There is an animal/monkey reserve east of Plettenburg which is also worth visiting.

Fab Brian!!! Can't wait to see/hear more when you get back. I am a little envious as we never got to do it when we planned it 2 years ago.

Here are a few more pictures of our African adventure.
We are now on the Garden Route travelling from Cape Town to Port Elisabeth.
As you can see from the Photos we did a game drive yesterday in a huge a private game reserve. (No sight of Anders or Danny!! You have to watch Wild ar Heart to understand that!!)
Hoping to do a canopy walk and cableway today. Then off to the largest bungy jump in the world (Think we'll give that one a miss then.)

Anyway here are a few of the photos from the game drive.

Image
1/ Two Lioness

Image
2/ King of the Jungle

Image
3/ A very sleepy lioness

Image
4/ Water Buck

Image
5/ Rhino

Image
6/ A distant Monkey

Image
7/ Can't remember what the name of this Antelope is but it is the largest in Africa and is capable of jumping 2.5 meters from a standstill.

Image
8/ Ostrich

Image
9/ Another variety of antelope that I have forgotten (should have made notes)

Image
10/ Giraffe

Image
11/ A Bull Elephant.

Great stuff again Brian - might have to pinch some of these for our picture galleries - if we get some of Molly's Australia pictures too we can have a cracking "Paphos People on Tour" section!
