Oooohhh Verity you are naughty, but I like it...

I did also note that the Latin Community centre is holding a Verity day, is there something we should know.

Well, I have been canonized you know.

Veritas is latin for Truth, which is the meaning of my name. Maybe it is something to do with that.

Any time I have tossed the "flipping" things they end up on the floor. Our three kids used to love the fun of it but not much the eating part. Now our married son is good at tossing and so he makes them for his two boys and so do our girls as well.

Me I will have one thin small one since they are about 2 sins on Slimming World. Dam it takes the fun out of everything.posting.php?mode=reply&f=2&t=7135#

Well Neil, the word censor made the title Are you a sweetie?? Didn't really go with the subject.

Zeus - not just C of E. Don't forget the Methodists, Pentecostals, Baptists, Roman Catholics and Church of Scotland, to name but a few who will be eating pancakes today. But yes - living here gives us two bites at the cherry. Or pancake. :D

Just for the record, we have tried making them with GF flour and they almost become a cake. Think I may have to pass this year.

For all those who can indulge - enjoy!

Have just made x6 . I had 2....Derek the rest!! With the traditional sugar and lemon...mmmmm.
Didn't try to toss them though as we've only got a small kitchen and so not sure where they'd end up!

Not being much of a one in the kitchen - we failed miserably as neither of us knew how to make them!!!

Guess we'll have to try and find the microwave variety, unless anyone has a sure fired recipe for making them perfectly ....... LOL x

Today is better for me 'Ash Wednesday' - guess whatever I cook today will burn
