Is just me or do others feel the same..
why have they moved the post office further away ?
I need to go there almost every day , what was the point of it ?

Surely whether it is further away rather depends on where you are travelling from? It is certainly more convenient (for me) at its new location and you can actually park outside, so that's a plus :). I do, however, tend to use the branch in Kato Paphos.

Much easier for parking. And much easier for me to get to as I pass it every working day.

Neil, my sympathies. I used to walk to the PO everyday from my office - took me all of 30seconds. Now  Its a drive away, lousy parking and still p***s poor service. A registered letter, (which they cannot trace) never arrived and I was told it must have got lost... Errr yes, well track it then, that is why it is registered.

I flipped my lid in there last week..
They lost an EMS data-post parcel I sent..
Then tried to get out of paying the insurance..
The whole place was silent, as I raged into them
we spend around 2000 euros a month on sending products out.
but did they care ? ...NO !

Yep, Neil, it is a lousy service. My daughter sent me a pressie air mail, well wrapped and after one month I went in to see if it was laying around. Aparantely not. I kept going in every other day to see if it had arrived as I had no card to notify me.
The convo went like this.....
'Where do you live'
'Emba - and the post man only comes when he feels like it'
'Yes he only comes when it's not raining'
'it hasn't rained all week, and only one day last week'
'Oh, maybe it too windy'
'What???'
'Maybe his bike not working'

Another week went by and a slip came, the package when collected was in tatters.
The date post mark was one week after she posted it, I collected it 4 weeks later.

Tiggy :huff
