For me there have been two big smiles, both making me feel very happy.

Firstly I got a redemption figure on my mortgage and it is 7000 euros less than I'd got in my head that I thought it was.

Secondly I had the most beautiful valentine card (yes I know it's 3 days late but it was posted on Friday) from the most gorgeous sexy man I've ever met in my life and it looks like he feels the same way about me.

Nothing is going to burst my bubble today.

Can't get anywhere close to that, but I must say that Tallulah's various posts made me smile on more than one occasion today - he was really on form! :clapping :clapping :)

Got up this morning and there was a really big frog on the patio. We get lots of them but don't know where they come from as none of the neighbours have ponds etc.
Well I've never seen one this big.
Usually our dog wags it's tail and paws them, this time she stayed well clear and wouldn't come back in cos she would have had to pass this bloody frog !
Funny as

I had a lovely text today from my Aunt in the UK. That always makes me smile.

Oh yeah and Jasper with his ears flapping behind him trying to beat the wind on the beach.

I know what you mean Karen, the ears flapping are a killer. Kofie always makes us smile when it's windy, he looks like Biggles with his ears blowing behind his head.

The smallest things make us smile eh?

What has brought the biggest smile to my face in ages was about 5 minutes ago, when I took the first long pull, on the first pint of English bitter that I have had for 9 months.
I treated myself today whilst doing the shopping.
2 pints of Greene King Abbott Ale & 2 pints of Old Speckled Hen.
I'm gonna savor every last drop. Oh the simple pleasures...... :D

9 Months Later ...

Jack decided to go skiing with his buddy, Bob. So they loaded up Jack's minivan and headed north.
After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible blizzard. They pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive

lady who answered the door if they could spend the night.

'I realize it's terrible weather out there and I have this huge house all to myself, but I'm recently widowed,' she explained. 'I'm

afraid the neighbours will talk if I let you stay in my house.'

'Don't worry,' Jack said. 'We'll be happy to sleep in the barn, and if the weather breaks, we'll be gone at first light.' The
lady agreed, and the two men found their way to the barn and settled in for the night.

Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they got on their way.

They enjoyed a great weekend of skiing.
But about nine months later, Jack got an unexpected letter from an attorney. It took him a few minutes to figure it out,

but he finally determined that it was from the attorney of that attractive widow he had met on the ski weekend.

He dropped in on his friend Bob and asked, 'Bob, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm we stayed at on
our ski holiday up north about 9 months ago?'

'Yes, I do.' said Bob

'Did you, er, happen to get up in the middle of the night, go up to the house and pay her a visit?'

'Well, um, yes,' Bob said, a little embarrassed about being found out, 'I have to admit that I did.'

'And did you happen to give her my name instead of telling her your name?'

Bob's face turned beet red and he said, 'Yeah, look, I'm sorry, buddy, I'm afraid I did.' 'Why do you ask?'

'She just died and left me everything.'

(And you thought the ending would be different, didn't you?... you know you smiled...now keep that smile for the rest of the day!

Must admit it was Pheobe who has decided she loves trying to get down the garden step - but fell and rolled over like she was a little professional athlete, also her talent for making sure she finds the puddles.

Best of all (although I am glad to say he wasn't hurt), was when Steve was washing down the patio and Pheobe was chasing him, so he thought he would have a game and run away from her - wrong not on wet tiles, down he went with a thud, Pheobe obviously ran in the other direction quickly. I had to laugh because he should know by now you don't run on wet tiles  as only five minutes earlier he was laughing at Keo who skidded on his bottom across the patio.

Oh if it wasn't for my best buddies. :heart

Jean have you actually gone through all the channels? Just thought I would ask as I didn't think I had it because the new ones always go at the end but not in the case of Fox Series went somewhere in the middle.

Thought I would mention it in case you think you haven't and actually have. :D
