I was supposed to fly on Fri 1/8 but my mom was admitted to hospital for a blood transfusion which left dad on his own and he's not really in a position to be left on his own for too long. Unfortunately, netiher of my parents will accept any help/caring from outside agencies so it's down to me mostly with help from a couple of other family members who just happen to be away right now.

So, i decided to stay behind and i let the kids go with their dad (i hope i dont live to regret that!) and hopefully i'll be joining them on 15th Aug. So my 4 week break has been cut in half but that's life, i suppose? I would have only of been worrying myself silly had i come and left dad on his own. As it is, i'm worrying myself silly about my kids being adbucted!

Anyway, i won't be able to make Pambi's on the 12th now. Sorry guys, i was really looking forward to meeting you all but we'll catch up one day, i'm sure of it.

Sorry to miss you on 12th, but hope that your Mum is on the mend and you are coping and not getting yourself too stresed out with it all.

You will certainly enjoy your holiday when you finally get there.

Sorry to hear about your mum and that you can't make the 12th. You did the right thing and I'm certain your children will be ok with their Dad until you arrive.

I'm desperate to get over on 13th or by 13th Aug as it's my daughter's 6th birthday. I've had her on the phone and she says they are having a nice time so far but when am i coming with all her birthday presents? Also,Yia Yia is giving them as many biscuits and sweets as they like!!

If i take the CY flight on the 15th i wont arrive til early hours of 16th so i'll miss Taverna Night.

I'll get there soon.
