John would be nice place if it was not so big, when i arrived 2 weeks ago, the weeds where everywhere, the ones you see in pic are nothing, they where at least 5ft tall, and covered all of the top half. I post them to pete when i get back from Germany then you see what i mean

Had the same carry on in feb with weeds but my partner sorted out when I got 40 ton of chippings and a wheel borrow sent to the house, really it just took her 4 days to pull all the weeds out and lay all the chippings.I was really impressed with her.she did a great job now all I have to do is keep on top of if.

It was your place we went past then Mark.

I remember the 3 foot high weeds, and the pool at the bottom of the garden, wish I had stopped to take a picture of the weeds, you certainly had your work cut out.

Aww don't get him started again Tricia, he'll be wanting someone to keep him company again because he is on his own, you go up there, and end up being a weed pulling gardener for him

Not long now Tricia and you can look at that blue sky every day! :sunny

I was wondering why some people prefer to live (or have holiday places) which are far from the centre of things. I know that it is probably because they need to really get away to peace and quiet and relax. But then it dawned on me... the real reason...

No tan lines! :smilielol  :smilielol

Is that true Mark?

Pam when we first brought the land there was no villa on the land, we had new build. To be honest we never thought about the distant. When we was showed the land we asked if we could be alone for a hr or 2. It was so peaceful, the birds singing is all you could hear, we thought this is what we wanted. When we first stayed at our villa after the build, we loved it, but now, we would rather be nearer town as wife and me likes to have a walk and a drink or 2. So this is why we are going to sell to Eva who owns part of the spar that is being renovated at the bottom of our garden, she going to let it out to people who have children, as there is no children allowed at the spar. So this has worked out for us and Eva really. I am hoping to get out on wed or sat, so i can sort this out with Eva, and start looking for another place, i have seen one that takes my fancy what do you guys think of this villa.

http://www.paphosvirtualtours.com/ohara.html Gary me best ever friend showed me this, now that what i call a true friend.

Tricia you soon be in that sun, and i hope to meet you while you are over there, if i can get cover and get flights

Pam what are tan lines never heard of it :smilielol :smilielol :smilielol :smilielol , so it was you i saw while i was sunbathing :smilielol :smilielol

I think Mark is a great person really really great. He does not mean offence, really he doesn't. He has a wicked sense of humour but I think it is an innocent type of humour ( think Benny Hill) perhaps it is sometimes hard to convey that humour on a forum. We all know he has a heart of gold.
Please believe me when I say Mark would not intend to offend anyone on here. Absolutely not.
This place is much the better for having his input. He is, in my opinion, a breath of fresh air.
He can come over funny at times, but isn't that what makes him so different ?
