 Post subject: where to buy webcams??

hi guys....

i need some help... unfortunatly, after a whole day of trying everything to make it work we have come to terms with the fact that my gran and grandads webcam is broken.

they use it quite alot via msn and skype to keep in contact with me and my mum.

anyway, i was wondering if you wonderful people could give us a few ideas off where we could get one around the paphos area...

Hi Emma

I got my webcam from Pick and Pay next to the cinema in Kato Paphos. Near the E & S supermarket, but if you go to Carrefour I think they sell them upstairs there.

thanks jean... i got a email from trev?? i think and he told me about paphos computer shop which is near posh frocks i think! going to try there this morning if not we will have a trip to carrefour!

tricia ~ thank goodness i am out here or they wouldnt know what to do!! i think my muma is missing us both!!... as much as i love being here with my gran and paw i am missing my mum!

Emily,

Are you sure its the webcam & not Skype, as I had trouble trying to webcam over skype & its not my webcam as it works perfectly fine on Yahoo or MSN, so before buying a new webcam, try it out on MSN or Yahoo first, they're free as well & better quality :D :D

pete~ we tried it on MSN last night with my mum and it was jst a black box...

went into paphos computers and spoke to them this morning... we bought a new one home, but the guy told me what to do to see if it was the driver... eventually we got it to work but the focus is broken so have ended up using the new one anyway!!

jackie got on skype tonight and saw kids, dad paid 44 euros for it said there was cheaper but decided to get a more expensive, if in the uk have a look at play.com they have some good deals and free delivery!
