You may have heard that they started to build the new 5 star hotel on the premises of Crown Resorts in Coral Bay which will be an adult only hotel.

I heard they are selling off all kinds of stuff there and have been to check this out.

"If you are in need of good quality mattresses( single, double, king size) or fold up beds or other beds head down to Crown Horizon Resort hotel in coral bay! Every item is 20 euros. They are getting rid of many things in the hotel, even things like bedding, duvets, pillows, blankets, mirrors etc. They have hundreds of mattresses and beds though in really good condition."

"If you do go to buy stuff ask for Alexander! He’s a very friendly helpful Russian and in charge of everything."

Do you have any further information on who is building the new hotel?

I 'presume' they are remodelling and not razing to the ground and starting again

It's in the TUI and Jet2 holiday brochures for 2024 so definitely a remodel as opposed to a total rebuild!

Word of warning from my husband - this stuff is more than likely what he installed when working there in the early 2000s so rather dated, poorly maintained and extremely dirty!

YUK - mattresses that old will be beyond rank!

Found this last night

Costakis Loizou, the Executive Chairman of the Louis Group of companies, has announced the start of the complete renovation of the Cali Hotel (formerly the Crown Resorts Horizon), in the Coral Bay area of Paphos.

According to Loizou, the hotel, which has 210 rooms, will be completely renovated and upgraded to five stars by its anticipated reopening date of 1 May, 2024.
