I took a wander down to the General Hospital today as Monday is walk in day for the vaccination clinic.

No queues, so went straight in, had both jabs within five minutes, ten minutes waiting to make sure that I didn't keel over, then straight back home.

Well done to the staff at the General Hospital - it could not have been easier!

Is it only on Mondays that one can just walk in to the General to get jabs or do you have to book on other days?

I think it is just Mondays.

We tried to book an appointment online but kept getting error messages, so I called my GP who said to go down on Monday. The lady behind the desk at the vaccination centre was the one who said that Monday was walk in day, so I think anyone over 60 can just go in.

Silly question but what’s the best time to go, we thought early around 9am,

We went at 11 o'clock and walked straight in.

As it was advertised in the local press that everyday is now a walk in day in order to get the combined Flu & Covid Jab, we thought we would go today (Thursday).
Walk in to the usual place at Paphos General to be told we are open for walk in's every day except a Thursday.
The lady there then clarified that everyday does NOT include a Thursday or a weekend!.
