Looking for Camp coffee, that delectable mixture of coffee and chicory as a syrup.

It used to be in Papantonious but not seen it for a while, has anyone else knowledge please.

Ditto I don't think anyone imports it any more, it's usually on my list of things to bring back with me when I visit because Mocha Mousse just can't be made with anything else!!

A long shot if you are ex-forces. What passes these days or the old NAAFI at the two bases may stock it. You can, or used to be able to, shop there on the production of your passport and discharge book at the gate.

Maybe its being sold underca new name due to the pc awarness , maybe its now called " Rainbow Coffee "

Thanks Alexis, but at 24 euros plus deliver I will give it a miss, desertcart is always expensive, but often have that little gem.

This was once the cheapest product on UK shelves.... what a turnaround.

Indeed i grew up thinking it was coffee for people who could not afford beans , do they still mix chicory with coffee ?
Being realistic maybe i never grew up , ok,ok, dont fall over yourselves to agree !

We drink and use Chicory regularly, its a great produce. It used to be in a with and without sugar mix.

Sadly the supermarkets seem to enjoy marketing hip trendy carp mixing it with wheat germ, elephant titty slime and other stuff rather than just a basic chicory.

Yes sadly what is good for us and what is marketed as healthy are often different things. Seems have a bit of land , home grown without chemical fertilisers is the direction to aim for , sadly not practical for many.
I feel people are sick due to eating pharma chemical cocktails and ridiculous amounts of single use packaging is due to marketing ! Two of the big evils today !
