Right, I think the time has come to start the list. I will try to get down to Pambis this week and have a chat to Peter (probably mid afternoon will be easiest). If I can, I'll try to get hold of a menu so I can scan it, to give you an idea of the sort of food he does.

Thats a great idea getting a menu for Pambis it will also give the people who are going to the August lunch an idea whats on offer. I have ate there in the past but can't remember what was on offer.

Tanny - took me a while to suss out what you meant It's just that I was trying to make it nicely spaced out, and easy to count up, but when you hit submit it takes the spaces out I'll go back and edit it , and try to make it easier for you to read.

Tricia, know how you feel, but mine was coloured and still is at present as I have grown to like it. It also makes my hair look a bit thicker although how long it will last is another thing as I might have to go back to the supermarket bottle if no work coming soon.

Well I've just been down to Pambis to "suss" it out for us next month. Peter has done much more work on the bar area, and for outside he has the big canopies to shade you from the (extremely) hot sun! I have got a copy of the menu, which I am posting below, just to give you an idea of the food they serve. I saw a young couple being served with a burger and chips (for him) and an omelette, salad and chips (for her). Got to say they looked very good, and they were certainly tucking into them.

So, menu now.

It will be the same menu - I'm sure of that. I've spoken to them down there, and if I can call in the day before and give them an idea of numbers, they will have the tables ready for us.

Sarah - Elysia Park is really flying up now. They've not started on the shops etc yet, but that was always going to be the last thing they built.

Really fed up that we will be missing the get together but we don't get over until late September. Perhaps we can have another one at Pambis then.

We always visit Pambis when we are over cos our place, Walnut Grove, is just next door.
I can recommend the stuffed vegetables and kebabs. Yummy mmmmmm.
And at a good price. Oh and the chips are fantastic.
