We have to replace our old 24000 BTU 13 year old unit. With new efficient units may be now 12000/16000 BTU Want an all singing all dancing new one with ionizer etc but at a good price.Similar to Omnia Passion ECO units link herewith:

We have an all singing all dancing CHIGO unit in the bedroom with a switch to have the ioniser on or off, also a 'quiet' option but it's very quiet anyway! When we can afford it we'll install the same make in the living room as we're very pleased with it!

There is a body of opinion that says that Ionisers don't work.

We tried one of these aircon units with an ionizer back home in Israel. We were very
disappointed with it, no detectable difference from a standard AC, just more expensive.
Let's face it - all you need is COOL AIR. And a standard AC DOES have a filter anyway.
At the end of the day personal choice of course.

We used CMC for three replacements over the last couple of years.
