As most of you are away I came to the UK back due to ill health, I have put on the forum various bits and pieces about benefits, this is one that I did not know about until I was informed by the Veterans Agency (MOD).

As a disabled person in the UK and granted mobility, you can either have the money towards your own car or have a mobility car, on top of that if you have your own car then you are exempt annual road tax as long you have mobility.

I must stress your own car not a mobility car, regrettably I am not up to speed with the disability laws in Cyprus, I do not know if this will apply in Cyprus you will need to ask.

If anyone who has come back or thinking about coming back and has mobility or going through the process of mobility and not aware of what to do please PM and I will get in touch, it is very straight forward to get sorted out.
