"President Nicos Anastasiades, ministers and other government officials are paying an all-day visit to Paphos on Tuesday to review the progress of infrastructure projects in the district.

The agenda includes the completion of the road network and the operation and establishment of Paphos high schools.

Anastasiades was scheduled to chair a meeting with local authorities at 10.30am at the municipality.

At 7.30pm he will inaugurate the Markidio municipal theatre.

He is accompanied by the ministers of the interior, finance, energy, education, transport, agriculture, his deputy minister, the government spokesman, the secretary of the cabinet and the director of his office."

We had the pleasure of following the procession around the Debenham's roundabout and this was the scene later outside the town hall. As well as the motorcade, you can see the men in dark suits and shades lurking on all corners of the town hall.
