Does any one know where we could buy a charger unit for a Bosch cordless vacuum cleaner?
We accidently threw away our charger with the Christmas wrapping papers

And need a new charger

Many thanks in advance

You could use any compatible charger, what will do the job:
a) has same type of connector
b) provide same voltage and a current no less (more is OK).

To obtain electrical parameters you must check white label on the cleaner or get tech info from a manual (you could try get it from Bosch web site).

Try Nicolaou Electronics (just along the road opposite Papa John's Pizza in Paphos). They have a wide range of chargers in there and should be able to help you.

Sorry, but I wouldn't buy electrical items from a market. Nicolaou is a long established business that I have used may time. My second choice would be Amazon.

With electrical stuff, it's not about cost. For me it is more about quality and safety.

if you would post electrical parameters of the cleaner and "tested" power adapters, I could say why they didn't work...

Just a multi charger and other single chargers

The Hoover needs a two prong charger we only have single

It is an 18 vault Hoover

And we would love to be able to use it again

Thank you

Post subject:  Re: Charger units

I did ask photos of your vacuum (a label, a socket to plug the charger) ... exactly to avoid verbal mistakes like "two prones", while real one it's coaxial plug to the cleaner.

OK, any [ANY!] power supplies: Input 230-240 VAC, Output 18VDC 1 A (or more, say 1.5A or 2A) with right coax connector (easy to replace, I did many times after did buy correct connector for 1-2 euros).
I saw (and bought a couple) similar power adapters [18VDC] and the market.

If you inclined to buy original, then search for "Charger Power Supply 12011433" model.

I did check DPM last Sunday and saw two different and definitely compatible power bricks for charge your cleaner; just for 2-3 euro each :-). Perhaps it would require to change a tip ...

No problem. I have always been impressed with them (apart from the boss man always smoking at his desk) as they have so much stuff, plus the repair shop and kitchen supply place opposite.

As you discovered, if they don't have what you need, they can usually make it for you and they definitely know what they are talking about.

Glad you got sorted.
