using the HDMI to put the laptop to the TV ,
I have a big black boarder round the picture ,
i never had this problem with the other laptop ,
how can I get it to fill the screen ??
its a very big boarder about 5 inch`s all the way round ..
using the zoom on the TV does not help ..
we are using windows 10 ..

Had this happen to me a few years back. I had to alter the resolution settings on the computer to make it 'fit' the television screen. I have a 15'' computer screen and the resolution is normally 1366 x 768.

To find it I right click on the desktop screen.

Select either Graphic Properties (mine works from here) or Graphic Options and that will take you to the display settings.

It might be easier just to adjust the Aspect Ratio of the TV. The handbook should tell you how to do that.

proper way is define/enable secondary monitor with HD [1920x1080] resolution and move your application window (You tube ?) to it

I think its promlem of two different aspect ratios. So you have to check its ratios and its resolution is not same. So you can solve your problem using fix your picture and resolution setting again.
