There is usually a parade to the harbour where a priest throws a cross into the water and the local youths dive in to retrieve it. The first to get it is blessed for the year. Also happens at Agios Georgious.

Epiphany is one of the most important religious celebrations of the year in Cyprus. Following a special Mass at the Cathedral of each town, a religious procession takes place down to the sea, at around 10.30 hrs, leading to a ceremonial baptism of the Holy Cross into the sea. During the ceremony the Bishop throws the Holy Cross into the sea and young men dive into the water to retrieve the cross and return it to the priest. Religious celebrations in all seaside towns:

An Epiphany Service will again be held in the occupied Walled City of Famagusta; allowed again this year by the TRNC "administration".
Free transport is available from Paralimni, Larnaca, Limassol, and Nicosia.
Amos.
